Test Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Tester to support a major service transformation project. The successful candidate will have strong experience testing Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
The role involves end-to-end functional, integration, API, UI, regression, and automation testing within an Agile environment. Strong experience with Postman, REST/OData APIs, Selenium, EasyRepro, Cypress, Azure DevOps, or Jira is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Perform API testing using Postman, including REST and OData APIs.
- Test integrations between D365, Dataverse, and external systems.
- Validate data integrity, workflows, business rules, plugins, and security roles.
- Execute SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, EasyRepro, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Create test plans, test cases, test data, and test evidence.
- Manage defects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, architects, and Test Managers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous QA improvement.
Key Selection Criteria
- 5+ years of software testing and QA experience.
- Hands-on Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform testing experience.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- Strong Postman API testing experience with REST/OData.
- Experience testing D365 and Dataverse integrations.
- Strong manual and automated testing experience.
- Knowledge of Selenium, EasyRepro, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ISTQB or Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform certification is desirable.
