Test Analyst II
Summary
Test Analyst II designs, executes, and manages software testing processes to ensure application reliability and stability, using various testing techniques and tools.
Responsible for:
Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring stability, availability and reliability of platforms and applications through the planning and execution of different test types at different test levels.
Extent of Authority:
- Raise HEAT Calls as required for projects and work continuity
- Provide Test Estimates within the given timeframe
- Communicate suggestions to Test Lead or Manager to improve processes
Main Activities:
- Deliver quality application change across various platforms through analysis, planning, creation and execution of test designs, procedures, and test cases
- Consult on testing matters to project managers
- Liaise with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements
- Acquire and analyse all relevant documents for assigned projects/enhancement to determine testing requirements
- Develop and execute test cases for all assigned projects/enhancements
- Defect management - raising any defects found during testing, participating in triage assessments, escalating in accordance with set procedures, and ensuring proper defect resolution and closure
- Lead end to end test effort for internal and client-facing projects, developing Test Strategy to guide this effort
- Evaluate exit criteria and report testing progress
- Provide UAT support
- Complete test closure activities including documenting test results in the Test Summary Report
- Track progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines will be met
- Participate in the peer review process for test artefacts
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Define, implement and maintain appropriate test automation and performance testing frameworks where suitable on projects, change requests and production support requests.
- Take ownership of test automation and performance testing activities as required on projects, change requests and production support requests
- Maintain all test documentation
- Use or wear personal protective equipment (PPE) e.g. vests, ear plugs, safety shoes, safety goggles etc. as per PPE requirements in your designated work area.

Qualifications and Typical Experience:
- Degree in IT or related discipline is desirable
- Formal certification in Testing is desirable
- Solid commercial IT experience, at least 5 years of testing experience
Special Circumstances:
- Out of hours testing work and support (as required)
- Must be prepared to undertake intrastate, interstate or overseas travel (as required)
- Required to go to accredited clinics/hospitals for Annual Physical Exam and complete NBI Clearance for security check
- Additional security clearances may be required as requested by FUJIFILM DMS or its clients.
- Required to work reasonable additional hours as may be necessary to meet the requirements of the position.
- Maintain Fujifilm and client confidentiality.
- Some travel may be required to various FUJIFILM DMS sites, interstate or overseas to meet requirements of the role.
- May be needed to be on-call from time to time to meet requirements of the role.
