Test Analyst at BairesDev

As a Test Analyst, you will focus on exploratory testing and manual validation to ensure software quality within complex business domains. You will act as a key link between business requirements and technical execution, identifying critical edge cases and usability issues that automated processes might overlook.

What You'll Do:

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios tailored to intricate business logic and regulated environments.
- Conduct deep exploratory testing to discover defects and assess the overall user experience from a functional perspective.
- Perform manual API testing and backend data validation using SQL to verify system integrity and accurate data handling.
- Document and manage the full defect lifecycle, providing clear reproduction steps and collaborating with developers for timely resolutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to align testing strategies with sprint goals and ensure high standards of software reliability.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Analysis.
- Proven expertise in designing comprehensive test cases, test plans, and procedures for complex business domains.
- Proficiency in exploratory testing and manual validation techniques to identify edge cases and usability issues.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for backend data validation and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong background in defect tracking and management within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
