Test Analyst - Robotic Process Automation (Contract)
Summary
A contract Test Analyst validates and ensures quality of RPA solutions built with UiPath, testing workflows, APIs, databases, and integrations while collaborating with business teams to resolve defects and maintain automation stability in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support for RPA solutions.
• Validate automation workflows, business rules, decision logic, and system interactions.
• Verify automation behaviours including exception handling, retry mechanisms, transaction processing, and recovery scenarios.
• Ensure automation outputs comply with business requirements, regulatory policies, and data integrity standards.
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions to ensure automation stability and quality.
Collaboration & Governance
• Work closely with business analysts, process owners, application teams, and the RPA CoE to gather requirements and define automation solutions.
• Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and deployment planning.
• Ensure adherence to organizational development standards, security policies, governance frameworks, and RPA best practices.
• Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior developers and team members.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to ensure stable bot operations and effective issue resolution.
Skills/Requirement
• Strong experience with: UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Robots
• Experience developing end-to-end automation solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating UiPath solutions with:
REST and SOAP APIs
SQL and relational databases
Web, desktop, and enterprise applications
• Strong knowledge of exception handling, queue management, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting within UiPath.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in UiPath development and RPA implementation.
• UiPath Certified Professional (Associate or Advanced Developer).
• Experience supporting production RPA environments and automation governance processes.
