Test Analyst (SDET) - API Automation

We are seeking a skilled Automation SDET Engineer to join our team supporting the Delta test automation framework. The framework implements a hybrid automation approach encompassing both UI and backend validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, Rest Assured, Core Java, and cloud-based database validation, particularly within AWS environments. Key Responsibilities · Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI and backend validation using the existing hybrid framework. · Utilize WebdriverIO with TypeScript and JavaScript to implement reusable, maintainable, and minimal-code UI automation tests. · Design and execute backend API validation tests using Rest Assured with Core Java, leveraging Java 8 streams for efficient data processing. · Perform comprehensive input/output validations, including verification of data integrity against SQL databases. · Establish and manage secure connections to cloud-hosted databases on AWS, ensuring compliance with security best practices. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage across UI, API, and database layers. · Continuously improve the automation framework to minimize code duplication and enhance modularity. · Troubleshoot and debug test failures, providing timely feedback and resolutions.
