Test Analyst / Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Are you a senior Test Analyst / Test Automation Engineer interested in participating in a stable, long-term European project, working in agile environments with a focus on quality, automation, and advanced testing?

At Talent Match, we collaborate with a European technological partner looking to bring on a Test Analyst – Expert Level, for an international project within a multidisciplinary technical team, with mostly remote work and a strong orientation toward software quality.

The project combines manual and automated testing, with a special focus on UI and API testing, systems integration, and working within SCRUM teams.

What you'll do

2️⃣ Job Mission ️

As a Test Analyst, your mission will be to ensure the functional and technical quality of applications, actively participating in the definition, automation, and execution of tests, as well as in defect detection and tracking.

• Define test cases, execute tests, and report results.

• Design, develop, and execute automated graphical user interface (GUI) tests using Selenium WebDriver with C#.

• Design and execute automated REST API tests using C# and RestSharp.

• Define and execute manual testing scenarios for those cases that are not easily automatable.

• Identify, re-test, and report defects.

• Provide support in the definition and execution of test plans.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Participate in system integration tests, especially in REST APIs.

• Work integrated within a SCRUM team (dailies, planning, reviews, etc.).

What we're looking for

3️⃣ Requirements (Match) ✅

Education

• University studies in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or similar.

• Educational level consistent with an Expert profile (according to European project standards).

Experience

• More than 6–9 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, as a Test Analyst and/or Test Automation Engineer.

• Participation in at least 3 projects involving GUI and API testing.

Mandatory technical knowledge

• Very good knowledge of C# or Java applied to test automation.

• Experience in:

○ Selenium WebDriver

○ REST API Testing (RestSharp, RestAssured, or similar)

○ Manual and automated testing (UI and API)

• Practical knowledge of BDD and its principles.

• Experience with BDD tools such as SpecFlow or Cucumber.

• Good knowledge of DevOps practices applied to testing (CI/CD, pipelines, continuous testing).

• Experience in system-level and acceptance testing.

Additional requirements

• Minimum B2 English (international environment).

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in multicultural and remote environments.

• EU citizenship mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC / RPC frameworks.

• Experience in non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability).

What you'll get

• Rate: 350 € / day

How you'll work

• Model: Offsite / remote

○ The first 5 working days onsite (onboarding).

○ Possible occasional presence: up to 5 days per quarter if required.

• ️ Expected start: 19/01/2026

○ Possible alternative date, no later than 09/03/2026.

• ⏳ Initial duration: until 31/10/2027

○ Max. 220 working days (full time, 40h/week).

○ Possible additional extension of up to 440 days.

• ⏰ Candidate submission deadline: 05/01/2026
