Test Analyst with French

Data Edge is hiring a Test Analyst in Bucharest (hybrid, B2B contract) fluent in French to analyze requirements, design and execute functional, regression, and API tests, and track defects in Agile teams using Jira, Octane, Postman/Bruno, and basic Java.
We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst fluent in French to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software testing, experience working in Agile environments, and familiarity with testing tools and API testing.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing needs.
Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, and API testing.
Identify, document, track, and report defects using tools such as Jira and Octane.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Validate API functionality using Postman or Bruno.
Prepare and maintain test documentation and provide regular updates on testing progress.
Communicate effectively in French with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing.
Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Octane.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
Basic knowledge of Java.
ISTQB certification is required or considered an advantage, depending on project requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
