Test and Software Development Engineer

About the role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Test, Verification, and Validation Engineer for Electronic Interlockings to join a railway sector project, participating in test automation within the Software Test and Development team.

How you'll work

• Modality: 100% remote.
• Railway sector project.
• Team provided for security reasons.
• Salary: SBA 45-48K, depending on experience and fit

Essential requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in testing, verification, and validation of electronic railway interlockings.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another related STEM discipline.
• English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

• Functional knowledge of Adif interlockings.
• Knowledge of safety software development for interlockings in Structured Text language.

Duties

• Test automation for the development of the generic electronic interlocking product.
• Carrying out testing, verification, and validation activities for electronic interlockings.
• Collaboration with the Software Test and Development team in product testing activities.
