Test and Validation Engineer - HVAC

Work location - Lockport, NY

Your Contribution:

As a Test and Validation Engineer – HVAC reporting to the Head of AC Testing – NA, you will provide support for equipment and facilities used in the validation testing of automotive HVAC and engine cooling components. Requires multidisciplinary electrical and mechanical engineering background supporting industrial test equipment, process control, and instrumentation. Ensures data quality and adherence to validation specifications.

• Install and support of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

• Support process control equipment including PLCs and controllers.

• Size control valves, heat exchangers, and pumps.

• Diagnose refrigeration systems.

• Engineer test equipment and facility improvements.

• Other duties and responsabilities may be required.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience on a similar role, supporting industrial process or testing equipment.

• HVAC and thermodynamics familiarity.

• Knowledge of MSA, OSHA, NFPA standards.

• Strong English communication skills are required.

• Apply high school math concepts.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
