Test Architect - C# with Selenium

Job Description

Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to join the leading innovator in image-guided therapy solutions as a Software Developer for the Azurion Eye Sensing Lab. You will be responsible for developing the user interfaces for all OneSpace-deployed clinical dashboards — delivering intuitive, high-performance front-end experiences that surface AI-driven insights and analytics to clinical users in the interventional lab.

You will be part of the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTS) business unit with development sites in the Netherlands, China and India. You will join the Data Analytics team within the Sensing Lab global R&D department, working closely with design (IENS), backend, and data engineering teams.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Define and own the automated test strategy and framework for all Data Analytics dashboards, microservices, and data pipelines.

  • Lead the design and development of automated test scripts covering UI, API, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.

  • Mentor and technically guide the Automation Engineer(s) on test architecture, tooling, and best practices.

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting.

  • Collaborate with developers and the Technical Leader during design and code reviews to ensure testability is built in.

  • Define test coverage metrics, quality KPIs, and defect management processes.

  • Triage, investigate, and drive resolution of test failures; work with development teams to ensure timely defect fixes.

  • Contribute to regulatory documentation: test plans, test protocols, and test reports required for QMS compliance.

  • Evaluate and recommend test tooling, frameworks, and automation libraries aligned with the tech stack.

  • Continuously improve test efficiency, coverage, and pipeline execution speed.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have the Following Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead/senior automation role.

  • Must Have:

  • C# — primary automation scripting language

  • ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced level)

  • Automation tools — test frameworks such as Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, Playwright, or equivalent

  • Nice to Have:

  • Python — scripting and tooling

  • Kubernetes / Docker — for containerized test environment setup

  • API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestSharp)

  • Performance testing tools

  • Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks from scratch in agile/SAFe environments.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD integration for test automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).

  • Experience in regulated software development environments (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or FDA frameworks) is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to assess test coverage gaps and translate requirements into test cases.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to influence quality practices across the team.

  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design and automation.
