Test Automation Engineer - Contract
Summary
Designs and runs automated tests for software projects, working in Agile teams to ensure quality and meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute robust test scenarios for SIT and UAT.
• Build and enhance test scripts aligned with project requirements and best practices.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
• Perform requirement analysis and contribute to test strategy and automation approach.
• Provide regular updates and effectively manage client and stakeholder expectations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Ensure automation coverage, stability, and continuous improvement of test assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Exposure in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability in client and stakeholder management.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and user story understanding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
