Designs and automates test cases for software quality assurance in an Agile team, using Java, Postman, Cypress, and Karate to ensure product reliability.
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to support quality assurance activities within Agile delivery teams. The role focuses on test design, test automation, and the promotion of quality best practices across the squad.
You will contribute to automation initiatives, help improve testing processes, and collaborate with development and QA colleagues to ensure product quality.
Main Responsibilities
- Design test scenarios and test cases for functional, regression and performance testing.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts.
- Promote quality assurance best practices within the squad.
- Contribute ideas and challenge existing approaches to improve quality outcomes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and team activities.
- Contribute to QA community initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Strong knowledge of Java and JSON.
- Experience with Postman, Cypress and Karate.
- Strong understanding of Gherkin and test design techniques.
- Knowledge of BDD and TDD methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Git and Continuous Integration practices.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in the life insurance sector.
- Experience in the banking sector.
- French language skills.
