Test Automation Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain Playwright-based test automation frameworks in TypeScript/JavaScript, integrate tests into CI/CD, and improve test coverage and reliability for web apps and APIs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions for web applications and APIs.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and API test scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Improve test coverage, test stability, execution speed, and overall quality assurance processes.
- Analyse test results, investigate failures, and collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Use AI-assisted development and testing tools to support test creation, analysis, debugging, and QA efficiency.
- Contribute to defining and promoting test automation best practices, standards, and documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Very good knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Experience in automating tests for web applications and APIs.
- Practical knowledge of test automation framework design and maintenance.
- Experience with Git and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- English at least B2.
- Ability to analyse test failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve test reliability.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools used in software development and testing, such as tools supporting code generation, test creation, debugging, or test analysis.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, quality-oriented mindset and a willingness to continuously improve testing processes.
