Test Automation Engineer
Summary
The Test Automation Engineer will coordinate testing activities, develop automated test frameworks, and track quality metrics for high-traffic applications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define test scenarios and requires proficiency in Selenium, SQL, and scripting.
You will coordinate test automation activities across projects, create structured tests, identify software problems, define test cases and scenarios, track quality metrics, collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, and develop testing processes. You will also learn and apply new technologies as project needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate test automation activities across projects
- Create structured tests to identify software problems
- Identify system requirements with internal stakeholders
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Track quality assurance metrics
- Develop test cases and scenarios from requirements and design documents
- Ensure requirement traceability
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
- Learn and apply new technologies as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with high traffic applications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools especially Selenium
- Excellent understanding of test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with Jira or similar tools
- Knowledge of AWS Azure and Google Cloud environments is a plus
- Understanding of Java Python SQL and Go is a plus
- Experience with blockchain technologies is a plus
- Fluent English communication is preferred
- Open source community activity is a plus
- Startup environment experience is a plus
