Test Development Engineer – ATE / Semiconductor Testing / IC Test Engineering
We are currently partnered with a growing semiconductor technology company developing advanced integrated circuits for high-performance and low-power applications. As part of their continued product development and manufacturing expansion, they are looking to hire a Test Development Engineer to support the development, validation, and production release of semiconductor devices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, debug, validate, release, and maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test programs for wafer sort and final test.
- Program and operate industry-standard ATE platforms including Advantest and/or Teradyne systems.
- Develop robust production test solutions that maximise test coverage while optimising test time and manufacturing cost.
- Analyse semiconductor test data to identify trends, failures, yield issues, and opportunities for test optimisation.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from initial silicon bring-up through production release.
- Perform device characterisation, qualification, silicon validation, and production readiness activities for new products.
Key requirements
- Professional experience in semiconductor test engineering, ATE test development, product engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging ATE test programs.
- Practical experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne test platforms.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device characterisation and production test methodologies.
- Experience supporting silicon bring-up, validation, qualification, and production release.
- Experience testing ultra-low-power integrated circuits or other highly power-sensitive semiconductor devices.
- Experience with R or other programming languages commonly used for ATE data analysis and test environments.
- Python or other scripting experience for test automation, data analysis, and engineering workflow optimisation.
