Test Development Engineer

ATE Test Development Engineer


We’re looking for a talented engineer to join our client’s Test Engineering team and play a key role in developing and supporting test solutions for wafer sort and final test.


This role is central to both the manufacturing organisation and R&D activities, giving you the opportunity to directly influence product quality, production efficiency, and future product development.


What you’ll do

  • Develop, debug, validate, release, and maintain ATE test programs.
  • Define production test strategies, limits, guard bands, and screening methodologies.
  • Analyse test data to improve test coverage, test time, and production yield.
  • Support NPI, including characterization, qualification, and silicon validation.
  • Work closely with IC Design, Applications, Product, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to DFT (Design-for-Test) activities during product development.
  • Investigate and resolve production and yield issues through root-cause analysis.


What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne testers.
  • ATE programming experience.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor characterization and production test methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional international team.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
