Director, Human Resources Business Partner - Commercial
Overview:
Alnylam is seeking a progressive, dynamic, business-focused HR Business Partner. This HR Business Partner will play a key role in delivering on the people and organizational strategy in partnership with key senior leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a commercial and/or medical affairs organization within biotech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically partner with senior leaders in the US TTR business to evolve and execute robust people strategies with the purpose of driving business objectives.
- Optimize team effectiveness and employee engagement, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative inputs.
- Own organization designs that position Alnylam for both efficient and effective growth, focused on a high-growth cross-functional field organization across the US.
- Focus on leadership effectiveness through executive coaching, identifying top talent and associated development opportunities, and ensuring effective plans, strategies and programs are in place to continue building leadership capabilities.
- Act as strategic change management advisor.
- Engages leaders as a strategic thought partner by connecting talent, organizational, and workforce decisions to business results.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze talent related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Execute enterprise-wide HR initiatives within scope of organization; build strong partnerships with HR COE’s to inform design and execution of initiatives to enable the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (i.e. MBA) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in HR. Experience in HR Centers of Excellence (i.e. Talent Management) preferred.
- Dynamic and creative HR leader who can coach leaders and managers, advise on organizational design, and create robust talent planning strategies.
- Successful track record of independently managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Successful track record of partnering with client groups.
- Ability to design and execute project plans, identifying interdependencies and incorporating related communication/change management plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and execution skills and the ability to translate HR strategy into actionable initiatives.
- Experience in influencing without authority and stakeholder management.
- Strong points of view on how to scale culture including best practices in team dynamics, working in a network operating model design, and ensuring organizational values are realized.
- Strong partner to all HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive creative HR programs and solutions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment required.
- Ability to work as part of collaborative HR team.

The pay range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
