Mandatory Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), specifically Agile methodologies.
- Test Designing - techniques, methods, etc.
- Test Execution & Defect Tracking. Exp. on test management tools such as Jira, ALM
- Experience with database queries and data validation using SQL.
- Knowledge of mobile application testing.
- Familiarity with basic automation concepts and scripting languages.
Role & Responsibilities / Job Description:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), specifically Agile methodologies.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.
- Execute manual test cases and report defects/bugs.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Quality Center).
- Track, analyze, and communicate test results, ensuring defects are logged in a detailed, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and verify corrective actions.
- Experience with database queries and data validation using SQL.
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
- Familiarity with basic automation concepts and scripting languages is a plus.
Soft Skills:
