Test Engineer
Summary
Designs and runs automated tests for government IT systems, using Python and CI/CD pipelines to validate security and functionality in a classified environment.
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team and support our client in the Ft. Meade, MD area.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement test scripts and other automated testing functionality on tools, capabilities, or system features and components
- Implement and configure a test environment to include appropriate testing framework or test harness
- Provisioning computers, loading with required software, and creating a test thread through an available network infrastructure
- Support test automated requirements and objectives
What you’ll need:
- BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering & 4 years of test engineering experience
- 8 years of test related experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with Python, or other scripting language
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (automation)
- Experience with installation, configuration, and utilizing personal security products, host and network-based firewalls and/or intrusion detection systems
- Experience implementing modifications to a test infrastructure, framework, or relevant components
- DoD 8140 compliance (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc.) or ability to obtain within 6 months of start
Bonus points if you have:
- Capable of creating test environments utilizing VMWare or other open-source virtualization tools
- Experience building a total end-to-end test infrastructure, from source to destination, using resources contained in a single lab or shared among multiple labs
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
