Test Engineer | Active SC Required | Bristol (Fully On-Site)

Technical Tester – M365 / SharePoint / Azure

Location: Bristol – 5 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £325 per day
Contract: 5 months initially, with potential extension
IR35: Inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC Clearance essential
Start: Early September

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Tester to support a secure Microsoft 365 / SharePoint migration programme within a Defence environment.

Working alongside M365, SharePoint and Azure specialists, you’ll be responsible for testing throughout the migration and upgrade programme, ensuring the new environment performs as expected.
Key responsibilities
  • Execute functional, integration and technical testing across the migrated environment
  • Support testing of SharePoint/M365 services following migration and upgrade activities
  • Carry out performance testing and benchmarking within Azure
  • Develop and execute test scripts, scenarios and test plans
  • Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
  • Work closely with technical SMEs to validate migrated services
  • Support regression and acceptance testing
We're looking for
  • Active SC Clearance – essential
  • Previous experience working within secure Government or Defence environments
  • Technical testing experience across Microsoft environments
  • Exposure to M365 and/or SharePoint
  • Understanding of Azure/cloud environments
  • Experience with performance testing or technical benchmarking would be highly beneficial
  • Comfortable working closely with infrastructure, cloud and application specialists
This is a fully onsite role in Bristol, 5 days per week, so candidates must be able to commit to this for the duration of the assignment.
