Summary
TÜV SÜD is hiring a Test Engineer at its Chonburi, Thailand automotive product laboratory. The engineer runs automotive component tests to international/OEM standards, designs pneumatic test setups, maintains calibrated test equipment, prepares test reports, and supports ISO/IEC 17025 lab compliance.
Responsibilities :
- Perform tests in accordance with international standards and OEM/customer requirements.
- Analyze test standards and establish appropriate test methods and test setups.
- Prepare and review test reports and related technical documentation.
- Design pneumatic systems and test setups for applicable projects.
- Ensure test equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and suitable for use.
- Monitor and ensure the validity of test results.
- Evaluate measurement uncertainty, where applicable.
- Support ISO/IEC 17025 activities and maintain compliance with laboratory requirements.
- Investigate testing abnormalities and support corrective actions when required.
- Provide technical support and discuss test requirements with customers and suppliers.
- Develop and implement new test methods and test capabilities based on business and customer requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation, pneumatic systems, or related engineering fields.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic system design and troubleshooting.
- Experience in automotive component testing or validation is considered an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and testing requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management systems and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good command of English, particularly in reading and understanding technical documents.
