Job Description:
- Experience in automation, software quality, or Quality Engineering.
- Building and scaling automation frameworks for data-intensive or distributed platforms.
- Demonstrated success improving system reliability, reducing production incidents, and increasing automation coverage.
- Proven ability to influence engineering teams and establish quality practices at scale.
Programming & Framework Development
- Strong Python expertise with experience building test frameworks, libraries, and CLI tools.
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Experience designing reusable, maintainable automation architectures.
Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with modern data engineering platforms and orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and large-scale datasets.
Data Quality & Observability
- Experience with modern data quality frameworks or equivalent solutions.
- Understanding of data lineage, metadata, cataloging, and data observability concepts.
- Ability to define meaningful data quality metrics and validation strategies.
Streaming Systems
- Experience testing event-driven and streaming systems.
- Understanding of event processing, delivery semantics, ordering, retries, and failure handling.
CI/CD & DevOps
- Strong Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of quality gates, deployment controls, and automated release processes.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Strong experience with cloud platforms and data/compute services.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automated environment provisioning.
- Understanding of scalable and ephemeral test environments.
Desired Skills
- Experience with API and contract testing.
- Exposure to UI or end-to-end automation.
- Experience with data product or distributed data architectures.
- Familiarity with observability platforms and engineering metrics.
