Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Environmental Test Engineer are conducting tests and evaluations to assess the resistance of materials/components to environmental stresses
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct Environmental qualification tests according to established testing procedures and clients’ procedures, such as:
- Vibration/Shock Tests
- Temperature/Humidity/Altitude/Salt Fog Exposures Other custom tests
- Record and Analyze Data:
- Accurately record test data, observations, and results in detailed reports.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues with testing equipment and data to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Compliance with standards:
- Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards, ATS’ Procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including metallurgy, chemistry, machine shop, QC, to support client needs.
- Project Manage
- Oversee project and work with clients to meet critical deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
