Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Environmental Test Engineer are conducting tests and evaluations to assess the resistance of materials/components to environmental stresses

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental qualification tests according to established testing procedures and clients’ procedures, such as:
  • Vibration/Shock Tests
  • Temperature/Humidity/Altitude/Salt Fog Exposures Other custom tests
• Record and Analyze Data:
  • Accurately record test data, observations, and results in detailed reports.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues with testing equipment and data to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Compliance with standards:
  • Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards, ATS’ Procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including metallurgy, chemistry, machine shop, QC, to support client needs.
• Project Manage
  • Oversee project and work with clients to meet critical deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
