Test Engineer (I)

Job Description

The Test Engineer (I) will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for software applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to ensure that all software products meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements
• Execute test cases and report defects to the development team
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner
• Identify and report software quality issues to the development team
• Participate in the software development life cycle to ensure that software products meet the required quality standards
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Conduct performance testing and load testing
• Provide feedback to the development team on software usability and functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
