Test Engineer (Mid to Senior Level)
About the role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join a pioneering IT consulting firm delivering innovative software solutions to enterprise clients. The successful candidate will ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with an Agile/Scrum team from test planning through release.
Key responsibilities
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Log, track, and follow up on defects using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve issues.
Support regression testing, integration testing, and release testing.
Contribute to automation testing and API testing initiatives as needed.
About you
At least 2 years of software testing experience in a software development environment.
Familiarity with Agile testing practices and the Scrum framework.
Hands-on experience creating and executing test plans and test cases.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management.
Knowledge of automation testing and API testing is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
