Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products and systems. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to design and execute tests, identify issues, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions to users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing functionality.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API, or system environments as applicable.
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly and thoroughly through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and validate expected behavior.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback on product quality, risks, and release readiness.
  • Support regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing efforts.
  • Contribute to test automation frameworks and improve testing processes where appropriate.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and help drive continuous quality improvements.
  • Maintain test documentation, reporting, and other quality-related records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in software, hardware, systems, or product testing in a testing environment.
  • Working knowledge of testing methodologies, defect life cycles, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Ability to create clear, comprehensive test cases and communicate findings effectively.
  • Familiarity with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and version control workflows.
  • Experience with test automation tools, scripting, or programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary range and levels for this role:

  • Level I: Typically, zero - two years of experience in an engineering role required.
  • Level II: Typically, three years of experience in an engineering role required.
  • Level III: Typically, five years of experience in an engineering role required.
  • Level IV: Typically, ten years of experience in an engineering role required.
  • Level V: Typically, fifteen years of experience in an engineering role required.
  • Level VI: Typically, twenty years of experience in an engineering role required.

Level I – II $85,000- $120,000; Level III: $120,000- $145,000; Level IV: $145,000- 170,000; Level V: $170,000- $195,000; Level VI: $185,000- $215,000
