Test Engineer
NewBe an early applicantThe nLogic team is seeking a Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the testing, verification, and validation of complex, mission‑critical systems. This role involves analyzing requirements, developing test plans, executing tests, integration plans, and contributing to the development and verification of system capabilities.
You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team. Candidates should excel in fast‑paced environments, adapt quickly, and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
- Understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
- Develop testing criteria to successfully satisfy set requirements
- Use development and testing tools including: C++, Python, Eggplant, Gitlab/Bitbucket, and Elastisearch
Required Qualifications:
- Active, in‑scope DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
- Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and executing test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
- Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
- Experience using the following languages and tools:
- C++
- Python
- Eggplant
- Gitlab or Bitbucket
- Elastisearch
- Domain experience
- Must be able to work on-site in a closed-area environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution
- Experience using the following tools is preferred:
- Jira
- Confluence
- DOORS
- Jenkins
- Bitbucket
