Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer - Chem Lab

Your Tasks

• Perform routine chemical testing and data analysis efficiently, ensuring all results are accurate, reliable, and delivered within established turnaround times.
• Maintain the internal document control system and take a lead role in preparing the laboratory for both internal and external quality audits.
• Execute routine maintenance and calibration for high-level analytical instruments (including GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, and ICPOES) and diligently maintain daily QC logs.
• Monitor the lab environment, enforce strict safety and housekeeping protocols, and manage stock levels for consumables, reagents, and instrument spare parts.
• Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the laboratory management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and related requirement by accreditation/certification body (CB, CNAS, DAkkS, HOKLAS, ZLS etc).
• Follow standard methods, and maintain strong, effective communication between the laboratory and the Customer Service (CS) team.

Your Qualifications

• Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Chemistry or related discipline
• At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in chemical testing or chemistry related industry
• Relevant working experience in chemical testing or chemistry related industry is an advantage
• Good understanding in quality and safety requirements in chemical laboratories
• With hand on experiences in operating and performing maintenance for instruments: (1) ICP-OES, (2) UV-VIS, (3) GC-MS, (4) HPLC-MS is an advantage
• Hardworking, self-motivated and a good team player
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Test Engineer
