Test Engineer

We are expanding our Quality Assurance team and looking for talented Test Engineers to ensure the stability and performance of software products, including web applications, AI services and Chrome OS devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive functional, validation, performance, and stability testing. Investigate failures, create detailed bug tickets, and ensure issues are caught before stable releases.
• Design, construct, and maintain reliable hardware test beds. Maximize hardware utility and lab space while setting up test environments.
• Identify suitable hardware/software testing tools. Devise comprehensive test matrices and test cases to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Monitor test flakes and failures from the latest releases, analyzing metrics for performance degradation and stability patterns.
• Experiment to find issue reproduction steps, retrieve helpful logs, triage root causes, and bisect releases to identify suspicious code submissions.
• Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to improve test coverage, efficiency, and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Collaborate closely with PMs and Developers to review product requirements, align on test scopes, and expedite bug resolution through clear, effective communication.

• Strong Logical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to systematically break down complex issues, analyze root causes, and find logical solutions.
• Basic QA Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of software or hardware testing methodologies.
• Tech-Savvy & Fast Learner: Comfortable exploring new operating systems and tools. Willingness to learn how to set up testing environments and retrieve system logs.
