Test Engineer
Purpose: The Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing, qualification, and troubleshooting of complex modules and systems. The Test Engineer has to ensure that the assembly can test and qualify the modules and systems within the stipulated cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test procedures based on specified test requirements to execute and complete module and/or system qualification according to customer requirements.
- Deliver product-related training and certification to the production team to ensure that test technicians are trained and certified to carry out specific test and qualification tasks.
- Support the production process to identify and solve design-related issues on the system level for complex systems.
- Define requirements for assembly tools and equipment to support product realization and build plan.
- Lead in resolving technical problems faced by Assembly, and resolve internal and customer quality complaints, so that product quality and system delivery requirements can be achieved.
- Evaluate assembly efficiency and implement improvements to achieve the calculated standard time.
- Identify and implement improvements to shorten production cycle time, improve overall production efficiency, improve quality performance, enhance safety, and boost sustainability.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment industry
- Effective Communications
- PDCA and basic quality tools
- Knowledge of Six Sigma
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
