TEST ENGINEER

About the Role

Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking a Test Engineer to support the engineering team in electronic and semiconductor hardware/software installation, product prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and product logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain electronic hardware, test platforms, equipment, and software for product development and testing.
  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing to verify the functionality and performance of ZES products.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis during product development and verification.
  • Work closely with the engineering team on hardware testing, verification, and product qualification activities.
  • Maintain test data, engineering records, technical documentation, and laboratory equipment.
  • Support the logistics, inventory, maintenance, and delivery of engineering equipment, components, and products.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience in PCB CAD layout and soldering is preferred.
  • Fresh degree or diploma graduates are welcome to apply, with training provided.
  • Familiarity with Altium or KiCad electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators/analyzers.
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor components, electronic hardware, software, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software platforms.
  • Strong interest in microchip-based hardware and hands-on engineering work.
