Test Engineer
Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who enjoys working in a multinational environment to join our Sensor & Measurement team in Bergen. We develop state-of-the-art sensors and measurement methods for NDT Global's in-line pipeline inspection services.
Duties / Responsibilities

Prepare, perform and document tests of sensors and inspection tools according to test procedures.
Prepare test plans and test procedures.
Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
Order materials for laboratory and testing purposes.
Assemble and prepare inspection tools for testing activities.
Assist in the analysis of test results.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, experimental science, or related field is required.
1 to 3 years of experience with experimental laboratory work, industrial or academic is required.
Experience with MS Office.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
An understanding of the physical principles behind non-destructive testing techniques is preferred.
Experience with a scripting language such as MATLAB or Python is preferred.
