Test Lead - Automation

Define and implement the overall automation strategy for the application under test.
Support the application team in continuous delivery and automation initiatives.
Participate in code review meetings and contribute to maintaining coding standards.
Provide guidance and support to testers and automation engineers in:
- Test approach and framework design
- Automation script development
- Test execution
- Results analysis and reporting
Analyze test results, communicate findings, and support defect resolution activities.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software test automation.
Identify opportunities to improve existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
Influence stakeholders to adopt automation practices that improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of software development.

8+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation.
Strong proficiency in:
- Java
- Selenium
- Cypress with JavaScript
- BDD and TDD methodologies
- Cucumber and Gherkin
- CI/CD tools and practices
Strong experience in API automation using tools such as REST Assured or Karate.
Proven experience in both front-end and backend automation.
Strong knowledge of databases such as DB2, MongoDB, or Snowflake.
Experience writing and executing SQL queries.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all management levels.

Experience with file handling in Java.
AWS certification or hands-on experience with AWS services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may also be considered.
An AI-oriented mindset, with experience using AI tools to improve the productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of software testing activities.
