Test Lead

As a Test Lead, you will drive test strategy, automation, performance validation, and end-to-end quality assurance for carrier-grade solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performing telecom products that power next-generation communication services.

  • Writing, Reviewing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test suites.

  • Working with cross-functional teams, including Architects, product managers, and QA Testers.

  • Conducting functional, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing.

  • Identifying, raising issues in tools like JIRA, and tracking defects through to resolution.

  • Analyzing test results and reporting findings to stakeholders.

  • Identifying and reporting performance bottlenecks in applications.

  • Assisting in quality assurance processes and best testing practices.

  • Ensuring scalability, security, and performance of applications.

  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends and implementing best practices in testing.

Must-Have Skills

  • Graduate or equivalent degree with 8+years of experience in Core Telecom IMS Domain with deep understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G, IMS, VoIP/VoWiFi Core Network architectures, call flows, and protocols.
  • Proven experience in telecom software product testing, including test planning, test execution, automation, defect management, and performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom protocols such as Diameter, SIP, HTTP2, SOAP/XML/JSON, and troubleshooting using Wireshark/tcpdump.
  • Strong Linux (RHEL/Rocky Linux) knowledge with application-level debugging, database troubleshooting (MySQL/Redis), and automation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Location Services (LCS), including positioning methods such as CID/ECID, TDOA, and AGNSS.
  • Knowledge of 3GPP standards (E-UTRAN, NG-RAN, IMS) and OMA specifications related to telecom services.
  • Exposure to Cloud-Native, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker/Podman, Helm, and virtualized environments.
  • Experience with traffic simulators, Robot Framework, JMeter, SIPp, mTLS/TLS, and CI/CD tools such as Git/Gerrit and JIRA.
