Test Manager - Banking
Description
Salary: ₱150,000 – ₱200,000 per month
Key Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for banking applications, systems, and digital banking platforms.
Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Manage and oversee functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Supervise and coordinate testing teams, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of testing deliverables.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, project managers, and banking stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
Identify, track, prioritize, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
Monitor testing progress, prepare status reports, and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, data privacy requirements, and internal quality assurance policies.
Manage testing schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project timelines and delivery objectives.
Evaluate test results and provide recommendations for release readiness and production deployment.
Support continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, tools, and automation practices.
Ensure that banking systems deliver accurate transactions, secure data processing, and reliable performance.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of recent experience as a Test Manager.
Proven experience in the banking industry, preferably involving core banking systems, digital banking, payment processing, or financial applications.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect management processes.
Experience leading testing teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
