Test Manager - Credit Origination - Contract
About the Client:
This role is with our reputed MNC.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for understanding project requirements and defining testing deliverables from a Test Management perspective.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day testing services delivered by appointed testing vendors.
- Guide Functional Testers in designing test cases and test scenarios leveraging strong domain knowledge in Customer Management and Credit Origination.
- Collaborate with testing vendors and bank stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute all testing-related activities.
- Assess and manage the impact of scope changes on testing plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all testing-related issues and risks raised by stakeholders.
- Track, manage, and report testing progress, defects, SLAs, KPIs, and overall delivery status.
- Ensure testing quality standards, governance requirements, and program objectives are met.
- Drive testing transformation initiatives, innovation, and continuous process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Vendor Test Managers and Test Leads across domains.
Skills/Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8 years of overall experience in Test Management and Quality Assurance.
- 4-5 years of Banking domain experience, specifically in: Credit Origination, Loans Management, Customer Management
- Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs and vendor-led testing engagements.
- Strong experience in Test Planning, SIT,UAT, Defect Management, Test Governance, and Reporting.
- Exposure to banking transformation and digital modernization programs.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
