Test Manager - SAP integration testing

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a regulatory project involving EU Battery Regulation and the Digital Battery Passport. The role combines test management with hands-on technical testing across multiple systems and project workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the test strategy, test plans, and execution approach across multiple workstreams.
• Perform REST API testing, including validation against OpenAPI specifications, JSON schemas, and API contracts.
• Plan and execute integration and end-to-end tests across SAP systems, middleware, reporting solutions, business applications, and external registries.
• Coordinate API testing and onboarding for external data providers.
• Manage test data, including temporary GS1/SGTIN identifiers where required.
• Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders and agree on acceptance criteria.
• Track defects, maintain test documentation in Jira and Confluence, and report progress to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead in integration projects.
• Hands-on REST API testing experience with Postman or Bruno.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI, JSON Schema, and API contract testing.
• Experience with SAP interface and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Jira, Xray or Zephyr, Confluence, and Excel.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven projects with fixed deadlines.
• Knowledge of GS1 standards, product compliance, or Digital Product Passports.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies, such as Event Hubs.
• Basic API test automation and regression testing skills.
