Test Software Developer - Hybrid

About the role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Test Automation Software Developer with experience in C++, LabVIEW, and electronic testing to join a project in the Defense sector.

What you'll do

• Development of test software, mainly in C/C++ and LabVIEW.
• Automation of tests in digital and electronic test benches.
• Integration and control of electronic instrumentation for the execution of automated tests.
• Integration of different languages and tools into the test solutions.
• Collaboration with the team in problem-solving and improving testing processes.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, Telecommunications, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in test software development and test automation in electronic environments.
• Solid knowledge of C++ and LabVIEW.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience with electronic instrumentation and its integration into automated test benches.
• Possibility of obtaining Personal Security Clearance (HPS).

Nice to have

• Experience in the preparation of test plans (Test Plans).
• Medium-high level of English, especially for reading and understanding technical documentation.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Ability to integrate different languages and tools into test solutions.
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

How you'll work

• Office location: Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid.
• Hybrid modality: 40% remote / 60% on-site.
• Salary: 45-49K, depending on experience and fit
• Project in the Defense sector.
• Equipment provided for security reasons.
