Test Specialist (SharePoint) (m/f/n)
We are looking for a Test Specialist (SharePoint) (m/f/n) to join our client's team, working on a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw.
About the project:
You will join a Digital Services team responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of business-critical applications before they go live. The role involves setting up and maintaining test management tools and environments, performing comprehensive testing activities, and coordinating User Acceptance Tests with business stakeholders. You will also produce high-quality testing documentation and collaborate closely with project managers, developers, architects, and support teams across all levels.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT
A minimum of 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile or at a similar position
Higher degree diploma (bachelor or engineer)
English B2 level
Expert in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing
Certificates: ISTQB advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (or 3 years of experience in test management above the required minimum experience at a similar position)
Expert in designing test environments
Hands-on experience in testing complex systems
Experience in setting up a test management tool for a new project
Experience in providing test documentation
Experience in leading testing in complex projects
Practical knowledge of testing tools
Analytical mind, attention to detail, and an ability to pick things up quickly
Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
Knowledge of processes in the Software Development Lifecycle.
Specific requirements:
Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans
Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint-based applications
Typical tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities
Develops test plan, test cases, and designs testing environment
Implements, executes, and debugs application test cases and scripts
Validates and documents completion of testing and Development
Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
Contributes to quality assurance in the project
Documents tests and tracks defects
Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system, and reports on status and trends
Cooperates with analysis, architects, Software Development and service desk teams
Offer:
Rate: 220-280 EUR/MD net (pure B2B, without paid holidays)
B2B contract signed with SHIMI
Long-term cooperation (minimum 4 years)
Work model: remote/hybrid, near-site (regular presence at the Warsaw office required, up to 12 days per quarter) - frequency to be agreed upon with the manager during the interviews.
