Test Technician-SSD & Hardware Validation (US MNC)

The client is theworld leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “TopBest Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.

• Employment Type: 12months Contract (Renewable)
• Venue: Bendemeer
• Working Hours: Regular Office Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and perform SSD system-level tests, including System Level Testing (SLT), according to established procedures.
• Collect and document test data to support product development, validation and customer qualification.
• Reproduce technical issues and assist engineers with troubleshooting, debugging and failure analysis.
• Support SSD power consumption and thermal characterization tests.
• Set up and maintain test systems, computer hardware and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain an organised laboratory and follow 6S housekeeping and safety practices.
• Work closely with engineering teams to complete testing activities within project schedules.
• Record test results, observations and issues clearly and accurately.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of SSDs, PCIe/NVMe, computer hardware or storage systems.
• Hands-on experience in hardware setup, system testing or failure analysis is an advantage.
• Familiarity with equipment such as thermal chambers, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters or Quarch tools is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills and a careful, methodical approach to testing.
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively with engineers.
