Testing Engineer

SCOPE AND PURPOSE

To set up testing activities for the development and validation of products for different applications, in compliance with technical requirements and the requested time/quality parameters based on the best possible test strategy.

To analyze testing data and drafting the related reporting, in compliance with the standards agreed upon with the Manager.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

-Ensures the setting up of tests with a view to product development and validation, processing testing results in accordance with the agreed upon procedures;

-Ensures a preliminary analysis of deviations with respect to the activities within the area of responsibility, searching for possible causes and solutions, if any, with a view to ongoing improvement;

-Ensures the preparation and compiling of testing reports;

-Analyses data from the customer regarding vehicle or bench tests to supplement any product validation or development tests;

-Coordinates the flow of information from the Design area to identify the best possible testing strategy;

-Contributes to defining specific methods, procedures and tools for the Test Engineering area.
