Testing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Test automotive applications, particularly EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials) structures, product configurations, and engineering change processes.
• Validate BOM data, part numbers, revisions, product structures, and data consistency within PLM applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
• Perform API testing and database validation using SQL.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects in coordination with development teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with Selenium, Jira, Java/Python, Postman, and SQL.
• Knowledge of the automotive domain and EBOM testing is highly preferred.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
