As a Testing Engineer/QA - Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the Software and Product Innovation group, focusing on Software Engineering. You will be responsible for providing specialized technical knowledge and conducting detailed analyses to support specific projects within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network. As a Specialist, you will leverage your skills to deliver value for clients and contribute to the team's success. You will handle technical tasks, conduct in-depth analyses, and offer input and support to specific projects, all while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Scaled Engineering Services, working within our Software Engineering competency network. You will take ownership of your work, consistently delivering quality results that drive value for our clients. Your role will involve applying a learning mindset, appreciating diverse perspectives, and actively listening to understand and express ideas clearly. By gathering information from various sources, you will analyze facts and discern patterns, contributing to the overall success of the team and the firm.

Responsibilities

- Conducting detailed software testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve issues
- Implementing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies to enhance software reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development and integration projects
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ to develop and maintain software applications
- Managing API integrations and microservices to optimize system performance and scalability
- Performing code reviews and adhering to coding standards to maintain software quality
- Applying continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline software deployment processes
- Troubleshooting and debugging software issues to improve functionality and user experience
- Supporting business process improvement initiatives through effective software solutions
- Engaging in business requirements analysis to align software development with client needs

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
