About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing practices, automation, and close collaboration with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution, ensuring clear and actionable bug reports.

• Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives as an active member of an Agile team.

• Monitor and analyze test results, providing clear quality metrics and reporting to stakeholders.

• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and standards to increase efficiency and coverage.

• Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

• Test Automation - proficiency in building and maintaining automated test suites using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Programming Proficiency - solid coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.

• Manual Testing - ability to design and execute thorough manual test cases, exploratory tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• API Testing - experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

• Defect Management - skilled in logging, tracking, and managing bugs through tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• CI/CD Integration - familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.

• Agile Collaboration - ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.

• Analytical Thinking - strong ability to analyze complex systems and identify risk areas.

• Attention to Detail - meticulous approach to identifying edge cases and potential failure points.

• Communication - clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.

• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.

• Knowledge of mobile testing (iOS/Android).

• ISTQB or similar QA certification.

• Experience in a regulated industry (healthcare, fintech, aerospace, etc.).
