Testing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up 1kV, 25kV, and 230kV testing environments.
• Perform high-voltage power cable jointing, cable preparation, and cable shaving.
• Carry out Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) and telecommunication cable jointing.
• Ensure all testing equipment and installations comply with technical specifications.
• Assist Professional Engineers during testing and commissioning works.
• Inspect work areas and identify potential safety hazards before testing.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate work records and testing documentation.
• Work effectively with engineers, supervisors, and project teams.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in High Voltage cable jointing and testing.
• Knowledge of 1kV, 25kV, and 230kV testing environments.
• Experience in OFC and telecommunication cable jointing.
• Skilled in power cable shaving and cable preparation.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITE Certificate in Fibre Optics.
• ITE Certificate in Electrical Maintenance (Beginner).
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical power systems.
