About the opportunity
Due to organisational growth, an exciting opportunity currently exists for a Sales Cadet to join our professional Wholesale team at Sydney, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for a second- or third-year apprentice seeking for a change, or someone with a drive for sales.
Reporting to the Sales manager, as you develop your skills you will assist the Sales team with administrative tasks as well as provide high-quality customer service to a diverse range of customers.
What you will do?
- Entering sales orders from various customers into the designated sales system.
- Picking and packing orders in controlled temperature and cold storage facilities.
- Assist with the preparation and dispatch of customer orders, where required.
- Provide general, ad-hoc administrative support to Wholesale department.
- With training provided, become a Business Development Manager!
What are we looking for?
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within meat industry.
- Experience with B2B sales or general sales experience.
- Willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong Computer skills (Word, Excel & Office applications).
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
