Job Responsibilities Teach Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students as per the CBSE curriculum and the academic requirements of the assigned classes. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, practical exercises, and assessments for effective ICT instruction. Teach computer fundamentals, digital literacy, operating systems, MS Office, internet usage, and other relevant ICT topics according to the prescribed syllabus. Introduce students to programming fundamentals, computational thinking, coding, and problem-solving wherever applicable to the assigned grades. Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory and ensure the proper use of computers and other digital equipment. Integrate technology into classroom teaching to enhance students learning experiences. Teach students about cyber safety, digital citizenship, online privacy, and the responsible use of technology. Assess students through practical examinations, projects, assignments, classwork, and written tests. Maintain accurate records of students academic performance, practical work, and progress. Ensure the proper functioning and responsible use of computer laboratory equipment and report technical issues to the concerned department. Encourage students to participate in ICT-related projects, digital activities, coding competitions, and technology-based learning initiatives. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, engaging, and interactive learning environment. Coordinate with other subject teachers to integrate ICT tools into teaching and learning activities. Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, school events, training sessions, and professional development programmes. Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the school management. 2. Educational Qualifications BCA / MCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Sc. IT / B.Tech. Computer Science / B.Tech. IT or an equivalent relevant qualification.B.Ed. is preferred or required as applicable to the post and relevant CBSE requirements. Candidates must meet the applicable qualification requirements for the designated teaching position. 3. Experience 13 years of teaching experience in ICT, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred. Freshers with strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and a passion for teaching may also apply. Experience teaching in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage. 4. Skills Required Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, ICT concepts, and digital learning tools. Good communication skills in English. Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner. Proficiency in relevant computer applications and educational technology tools. Basic knowledge of coding and programming concepts, as applicable to the assigned classes. Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
