TH-HSSE Officer
The employee is responsible for the following roles in Constant Energy in Thailand but can be extended to other countries as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HSSE policy, ESMS requirements, and local regulations for all projects.
- Perform the risk assessment and environmental aspect identification to reduce work process risks.
- Perform the contractor safety management.
- Carry out routine site visits, HSSE coordination meetings with all contractors, and participate in routine coordination meetings with construction as well as the O&M team.
- Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality.
- Actively participate in HSSE audits, training, and incident investigations.
- Manage the emergency response plan and business continuity plan.
- Communicate HSE information and best practices to the contractor and instruct HSE issues to be followed up.
- Perform safety tasks or other duties as assigned.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the managing director of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Occupational Health and Safety function in renewable energy/Oil & Gas /power/Chemical sector utilities/consulting firms/Construction etc.
- Good knowledge of Thai Occupational Health and safety regulations
- ISO14001 and ISO45001 internal auditor certificates
- Erecting or dismantling scaffolding training certificate
- Self-motivated and a self-starter with a “can do” attitude
- Able to work with limited supervision and deliver results within challenging deadlines and under pressure in a small entrepreneurial team
- Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills and emotional stability
- Good computer skill in Microsoft office
- Ability to travel
