TH-Permitting Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify documents required for permits, such as Aor.1, Aor.6, DEDE, ERC, and PEA/MEA regulations.
- Coordinate with construction teams, clients, and business development teams to ensure compliance with minimum document requirements for permitting purposes.
- Oversee permit and license execution processes, including interactions with authorities like IEAT, provincial industry offices, the Department of Industrial Works, and ERC.
- Submit, track, and report the status of permits proactively, ensuring timely approvals.
- Act as a liaison between business development, construction, and asset management teams for permit-related activities during project execution and transitions.
- Assist in document preparation during project kick-off meetings and the COD transition period.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven the experience in permitting and licensing within the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of permit requirements, submission processes, and relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., ERC, PEA/MEA, IEAT).
- Proficiency in tracking and predicting permit milestones and timelines.
- Effective document verification and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive and professional approach to handling permit processes.
