The Freelance Firm - Contract-based, Florida Commercial Litigation and Corporate Transactional Attorney Opportunity – $90 per Hour

Our client Florida Law Firm has an opportunity for a qualified, experienced, and reliable Commercial Litigation and Corporate Transactional Attorney to support a busy corporate transactional practice with commercial litigation defense, collections, and smaller corporate transactions.

This is a contract-based, as-needed opportunity working directly with the firm’s owner on a range of litigation and transactional matters, including work arising from SBA loan workouts. The firm values consistent communication and predictable turnaround on every assignment.

Attorney Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial litigation defense matters, including matters involving denied insurance coverage
  
• Manage collections matters from intake through resolution
  
• Draft and review documents for smaller corporate transactions
  
• Support matters arising from SBA loan workouts
  
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  
• Independently manage assigned matters and meet deadlines
  
• Provide timely status updates and predictable turnaround to the supervising attorney
  

Attorney Requirements:

• Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
  
• Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience
  
• Commercial litigation defense experience
  
• Collections experience
  
• Corporate transactional experience
  
• SBA loan workout experience is a plus
  
• Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
  
• Must be based in the United States
  
• Ability to independently manage assignments and meet deadlines
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
• Highly responsive, reliable, and proactive
  
• Experience with Clio, OneDrive, and Dropbox is a plus
  

Our Attorney pay rate starts at $90 per hour.
